Presentation: Based on the most reliable scientific research available, history’s largest predator has been reconstructed: the Megalodon.
The entire body of this model has been restored by us after comparing and contrasting many sources with modern shark references. From the direction of the cartilage in the body of the shark, the distribution of the Lorenzini’s ampoule, the lateral convexity of the caudal pedunculus, the distribution of folds and intertwining of small structures in the body, to the proportions of different body parts, the design is based on in the existing evidence and in the different individual considerations of the members of the Lamnidae family.
For the painting scheme the color scheme of mako sharks, white sharks and some classic documentaries about Megalodon was used as a reference, and finally a blue green color scheme was presented, and a special metallic matt paint was used to express the unique texture of the shark underwater, in order to achieve a strong sense of realism.
We have put a lot of effort into researching, designing, sculpting and painting this product and we hope you like this work
